Circa Sportsbook Bonus and Promotions
Interestingly, Circa Sportsbook goes against the grain in terms of bonuses and promotions. While all other sportsbooks we’ve reviewed feature at least a welcome offer, there’s nothing of the sort here. For now, you’ll have to make do without any promotions when you sign up.
Although the lack of bonuses might put some off, we think Circa is still worth signing up to, thanks to some of the other things it has to offer. In addition, we think that the sportsbook may offer some kind of reward in the future, so watch this space.
Circa Squares
While not a bonus as such, Circa Squares is a unique betting promotion that makes big events even more exciting. It’s pretty simple, and anyone can take part in it, predicting the outcome of the game or a specific quarter. You choose which squares you want, with each square having a unique number.
The number of the square correlates to the last digit of the game’s score for each team, although there are different scores for each quarter and the final result. If you pick a square that wins, you’ll win based on your stake and the payout displayed on the square.
You can purchase as many squares as you like on selected games, with each square costing at least $1. There’s a maximum payout of $100,000 for any player, and this promotion is available in all states where Circa is licensed.
There’s no split payout pool, so anyone can win the maximum amount. Once you place a bet on a square, your bet is locked in at the odds shown, so you don’t need to worry about your potential payout changing.
Safety and Security
Circa Sportsbook may be a relatively new online platform, but we’ve verified that it’s safe and trustworthy to use. The site is operated by the Circa Sports brand, which was founded by the owner of Circa Resorts and Casinos, a famous Las Vegas casino gaming brand.
While Circa Sports was only established in 2019, it has the backing of a company with a strong reputation in the industry. When you sign up to bet at Circa, your money is in safe hands. The site ensures a high level of encryption is used to protect payment information, and the site is also licensed and legal to use.
Circa Sportsbook License
Currently, Circa is only available in a few states, but there are plans to expand to other areas soon. It’s licensed to operate as an online sportsbook in the following states:
- Colorado
- Iowa
- Nevada
In addition, the sportsbooks should also be launching in Illinois soon.
Responsible Gambling
It’s important to gamble responsibly when betting on sports, which means taking care not to bet more than you afford to lose. While betting can be fun, it’s easy to get carried away, and all good sportsbooks should do their part to protect users and promote responsible gambling.
When you sign up to Circa, you’ll be able to receive advice on responsible gambling, and there are resources to help you, including local state helplines. The information available is slightly less than what we’ve seen at other sportsbooks, but there are also some tools you can use to stay in control.
These responsible gambling tools include:
- Deposit limits
- Wager limits
- Self-exclusion
Payments at Circa
The payment options available to use at Circa are very limited at the moment, though we hope that more will be added in the future. It’s worth noting that the options you have available, as well as the minimum amounts, will depend on what state you’re in. We’ve outlined the main methods and how to use them below.

Circa Betting Features
Circa is still relatively new to online sports betting, and so far, the site has gone with a very minimal approach. There aren’t a lot of features to note, but this makes it a lot simpler for those who are new to online betting.
Odds at Circa
While Circa may not have the betting features that some other top sportsbooks have, it more than makes up for it with its odds. It has extremely competitive odds, particularly on major US sports such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. When we compared it to other sites, we found Circa consistently has odds that are equal to or better than the best alternative option.
In terms of the sports and competitions it features, it’s fair to say there’s a more limited selection than what you’d find at other sportsbooks. Still, you can bet on all major leagues and competitions in some of the most popular sports. Less relevant leagues aren’t included at the moment, but you can still find major international competitions such as Premier League soccer, tennis opens, and the PGA championship.
The full list of sports available to bet on at Circa is as follows:
- Auto racing
- Baseball
- Boxing
- Golf
- Hockey
- Pro basketball
- College basketball
- Pro football
- College football
- Soccer
- Tennis
- UFC
Circa Betting Markets
Circa also has fewer markets available than most other sportsbooks. When selecting an event, including a big game such as the NBA playoffs, you’ll have a few main menus showing the main markets, half markets, and quarter markets. On events outside the US, there are typically even fewer markets to choose from, though it does depend on the sport.
The main markets available at Circa include:
- Point spread
- Moneyline
- Total points over/under
- Half and quarter bets
- Futures
Aside from regular markets, Circa does also offer teaser bets and round robins, which are different ways to place parlays, allowing you to get more creative with your selections. However, there are few prop bets available at the moment, so your selections will normally be limited to the main markets or the half and quarter bets.
Live betting
Live betting allows you to place bets on games that are currently in progress rather than simply placing your bets before the game. The advantage of live betting is that it makes watching the game more enjoyable, plus there are opportunities to find more value during the game, as lines and odds move around a lot.
Circa does offer live betting, though its live section is a little emptier than some of the other sportsbooks we’ve reviewed. You can find all available live games from the homepage, with the live category being easy to find from the side menu. All available live games are shown here, and you can select an event to check which markets are available.
Generally speaking, live events at Circa have fewer markets than pre-live. Most games have point spread, moneyline, and total points as the only options, but this depends on the size and popularity of the event. US games tend to have more live markets you can choose from.
Live Streaming
There’s currently no live streaming available at Circa, which means you won’t be able to watch the games through the sportsbook as you bet. While this may be disappointing, it’s possible that live betting will be added at some point later down the line.
Fortunately, live games do still offer live stats, which you can use to make more informed decisions while betting. When you select a major live game to view the markets and odds, you’ll also be able to see stats about the game, including the latest action on the field and current roster information.
Cash Out
Disappointingly, there’s no cash out feature at the moment, so you won’t be able to take your winnings early. It’s unclear if Circa plans to add this in the future, but it’s something that’s now expected by most bettors who are used to betting online. Considering most sportsbooks offer cash out, we expect Circa to eventually include this feature.
Circa Usability
Circa offers a more stripped-back betting experience compared to other sportsbooks we’ve reviewed. However, this makes it much easier to use as a platform. There aren’t as many markets or features, so placing bets is incredibly straightforward. We found signing up to Circa very easy too, with the process only taking a few minutes at most.
If you’re in Nevada, you will need to sign up in person, but other states are able to use the mobile app or desktop site to create their account and get started. Once you’re logged in, it’s easy to find the sports you want to bet on from the main page. Big upcoming events are shown as soon as you enter the sportsbook, and the side menu can be used to easily scroll through available sports.
When you place a bet at Circa, it will be added to your betslip, which is always displayed to make it easy to find. Here you can edit your selections, enter your stake, cancel your bets, or check their progress. It’s extremely simple, and even if you’ve never bet before, you shouldn’t have any issues.
The design of Circa is based on old-school retail sportsbooks found in Vegas, and in our opinion, it makes it easy to see the markets and odds. If you’re completely new to betting, there’s even a full guide on how to get started, so you can learn about the different things you can bet on and how to get started.
Circa on Mobile
The Circa Sportsbook is designed with mobile users in mind. In fact, Colorado is the only state where you can access the site on desktop, with Nevada and Iowa bettors needing to download the app to get started. Thankfully, the app is really well designed, offering fast loading times and an excellent betting experience.
Everything you can do on the desktop site can also be done on the app, with all the same sports, markets, and features available. You can register and fund your account directly through the app, and it’s available to download and install on iOS and Android devices.
We think the app is the best way to access Circa, as it was clearly designed around the app rather than the desktop site. While the site is still easy to use, the app makes everything more convenient, and of course, you can place bets anywhere, provided you’re in a state where Circa has a license to operate.
Customer Service at Circa
All good sportsbooks should make it easy for you to get in touch with the support team if you have an issue or question about your account or placing bets. At Circa, the support page is easy to find from the sportsbook desktop or app, and brings you to a list of helpful FAQs.
The FAQs answer lots of questions you might have about using the app, including how to get started, app troubleshooting, deposits and withdrawals, and betting itself. Aside from this, you can speak to the support team through email. There’s no live chat, unfortunately, but emails are generally answered within 24 hours. In addition, there’s a Twitter page you can contact, and response times are generally quite quick.
Support Option | Details | Response Time |
Help center | FAQs | Instant |
Email support | [email protected] | 24 hours or less |
Social media | @CircaSports | 24 hours or less |
Final Thoughts
Circa Sportsbook is still new and growing, so we can perhaps forgive that it doesn’t have a welcome offer just yet. The lack of payment options and betting features is also a negative mark against it. Although this doesn’t mean it’s not worth using. The app provides a fantastic betting experience, and if you prefer to bet on the biggest leagues and most popular markets, you still have lots of options.
Overall, the Circa mobile app is incredibly easy and intuitive to use, and the odds featured at this sportsbook make it well worth using. The lack of a welcome bonus will no doubt put some off from joining, but the squares promotion is a lot of fun and available during major games such as the Super Bowl and NBA Championship game.
